Foutbericht:

"Log could not be retrieved"

ADM8010E - Backup was unable to copy requested log file "S0000001.LOG" for inclusion in the backup image. The backup has been aborted.

SQL2428N - The backup operation did not complete because an error was encountered while the backup utility was retrieving the log files.

DIA3841E - A file "" could not be found.

Cause

Dit is een bekend probleem dat IBM heeft aangepakt in hun recente DB2 11.5.8 en 11.5.9 FIXPACK 0.

Resolution

De onderstaande optie is beschikbaar:

  1. IBM heeft een oplossing voor dit probleem in DB2 11.5.8 en latere versies. Als de gebruiker een speciale build voor DB2 11.5.8 of 11.5.9 gebruikt, moet hij contact opnemen met IBM support voor een FIXPACK waarin de speciale build is opgenomen.
De volgende DT moet in de DB2-versie zitten die wordt gebruikt:

DT1473612IT40335: HADR STANDBY IS AFGESLOTEN OMDAT EEN LOGBESTAND DAT IS OPGEHAALD UIT HET ARCHIEF NIET KAN WORDEN GEVONDEN.

  1. De gebruiker moet VENDOROPT hebben ingesteld op een CFG-bestand en het CFG-bestand moet DB2INSTANCE hebben ingesteld.
