There was major architectural changes in CLI commands moving from OneFS v7 to v8 - Riptide .
We usually used the command isi firmware status to check nodes firmware that is one of the necessary checks in many issues troubleshooting.
  • In order to view the Node Firmware installed on the cluster, run the following command:
# isi upgrade firmware devices

  • In order to view the Node Firmware available to the cluster, run the following command and specify the node lnn number you need to check:
#isi upgrade nodes firmware package view --lnn=<node lnn>

  • In older OneFS versions, the following command is used: 
    #isi firmware status
 
  • In order to view the Drive Firmware, run the following command and specify node lnn number.
#isi devices drive firmware list --node-lnn=<node lnn>
