Symptoms

  • L'operazione di riconfigurazione dell MDM ha esito negativo e viene visualizzato il messaggio Impossibile connettersi al gateway PowerFlex.
  • Le operazioni di inventario del gateway PowerFlex inizieranno a non riuscire dopo l'operazione di riconfigurazione dell MDM.
  • Nel riquadro Resource, il gateway PowerFlex mostra "PowerFlex unreachable" o "unhealthy"

Cause

Il gateway PowerFlex non è in grado di connettersi al cluster MDM primario quando il ruolo principale viene commutato frequentemente tra diversi membri del cluster MDM. Questo problema è stato osservato durante la riconfigurazione di MDM, quando viene richiesto lo spostamento di più ruoli MDM.

Resolution

Per risolvere questo problema, l'utente deve riavviare il pod del gateway PowerFlex.

Il comando seguente può essere utilizzato per riavviare il gateway PowerFlex.

kubectl delete pod -n powerflex $(kubectl get pods -A | grep block-legacy-gateway | grep -v mds | grep -i running | awk ' {print $2}')
