Symptoms
When clicking Setting | System Configuration of the DM5500 PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance, the first screen displays a warning: Asset cannot be added or renewed from Policies while system configuration is in progress or in failed state.
Cause
Though it may generate concern that there is a problem, this is working as designed.
It is a warning to prevent customers from performing any additional configuration changes while the system configuration is running.
Resolution
No customer action is required as this is a warning only.
