Advanced Retention Policy has been set up with Days = "0"
When the backup starts the timestamp is created, since there is a policy with 'keep dailies for' = 0, it immediately marks the backup as expired and does not proceed further.
Resolution
Correct the Advanced Retention Policy settings for 'keep dailies for' = nonzero (for example 14 days, as per Avamar Best Practice.)
