VMware 在两种配置中的每一种中都支持 EMC VPLEX 上的 Storage DRS 和 Storage IO Control，并具有下面所述的限制。

VPLEX Local：
在 VPLEX Local 配置中，VPLEX 卷包含在站点/位置内。在此配置中，以下限制适用：

  • 支持存储 IO 控制
  • 支持 Storage DRS
  • 数据存储群集只能由相似的卷组成
  • 建议在手动模式下运行 Storage DRS，以控制迁移发生的时间点

VPLEX Metro：
在 VPLEX Metro 配置中，VPLEX 卷分布在各个位置/站点上。在此配置中，以下限制适用：

  • 不支持存储 IO 控制
  • 仅当禁用 IO 指标时才支持 Storage DRS
  • 建议在手动模式下运行 Storage DRS，以控制迁移发生的时间点
  • 每个位置/站点都应具有一个数据存储群集，该群集仅由属于相同一致性组的 dvol（分布式 VPLEX 卷）组成，并且站点仅偏向于该特定位置/站点。
  • 示例：站点 A 将具有数据存储群集 A，其中包含所有偏向于站点 A 的 dvol。
