Symptoms



尝试使用 DPA 查找 Data Domain （DD） 时，将返回以下错误消息：
 

failed to open SNMP session for host



运行收集请求时，在 UI 的调试中，dpaagent.log中返回以下信息：
 

DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105             com.snmp - aapiSNMPOpen(): Overriding SNMP timeout to 10 seconds
DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105             com.snmp - aapiSNMPOpen(): Failed to open SNMP session for host 'dd01.emc.lab', errno 0, snmp_error 'Unknown host (host_name)'
DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105         agent.mod.dd - perf_snmp(): aapiSNMPOpen() failed

Cause

DPA 代理无法解析 DD 主机名，因此无法连接到 DD 上的 SNMP 服务。

Resolution

要确认名称解析是问题所在，可以使用 DD FQDN 在代理服务器上运行 nslookup 命令。如果未返回 IP 地址，则这可确认问题出在名称解析上。

有两种方法可以解决名称解析问题。

1.在 DNS 服务器中创建 A 记录，以便 FQDN 成功解析。

2.将 DD 添加到代理服务器上的 hosts 文件，并确保已启用 O/S 以检查主机文件和 DNS。
