Symptoms

Data Domain 시스템을 Active Directory에 가입시키려고 하면 작업이 실패하고 다음과 유사한 오류가 발생합니다.

Cause

암호에 멀티바이트 문자가 포함되어 있으면 AD(Active Directory)에 Data Domain을 연결할 수 없습니다.
 
  • Data Domain은 ASCII 및 확장 ASCII 문자를 지원하지만 멀티바이트 문자는 지원하지 않습니다
  • 이 제한은 AD에 가입할 때 사용되는 사용자 비밀번호에만 적용됩니다.
  • Data Domain에서 CIFS 공유에 연결하는 동안의 사용자 인증에는 적용되지 않습니다.
