5 września 2017 r. firma Apache ujawniła lukę w zabezpieczeniach we wtyczce REST używanej w narzędziu Apache Struts 2, która umożliwia zdalne wykonywanie przypadkowych poleceń na komputerach, w których luka występuje, poprzez przesłanie do aplikacji specjalnie dostosowanego żądania sieci web.
