Connectrix Cisco: "Security alert:SRVNAME_RTD_MONITOR-2-SECURITY_ALERT: SECURITY-WARNING: ASLR-ENTROPIE ONVOLDOENDE" ontvangen in logboeklogboek

Symptoms

Fout in het logboek van de showregistratie:
"%SRVNAME_RTD_MONITOR-2-SECURITY_ALERT: SECURITY-WARNING: ASLR ENTROPY INSUFFICIENT "  

 

Cause

  • Het bovenstaande bericht geeft aan dat een periodieke randomisatiecontrole van het geheugen is mislukt.
  • Wanneer dergelijke controles mislukken, heeft dit geen gevolgen voor het productieverkeer.
  • Als dit bericht slechts één keer wordt weergegeven, kan het veilig worden genegeerd.
  • Als er sprake is van repetitief gedrag, heeft deze schakelaar aandacht nodig.

1. Controleer de uitvoer van de opdracht: 
show security system state

2. Let op het entropiebereik. 
3. Elk bereik van 8-19 wordt beschouwd als "Goed" en kan worden genegeerd.
4. Elk bereik onder 8 is slecht en Cisco TAC moet worden ingeschakeld om de switch te verifiëren.
