Symptoms

  • L'appliance vProxy non riesce a eseguire l'aggiornamento utilizzando l'utilità nsrvproxy_mgmt.

Cause

Il problema può verificarsi quando l'indirizzo IP dell'host vProxy è assegnato a più macchine virtuali (VM). I registri di runtime di NetWorker vProxy dipingono dial udp ##.###.##.###:53: connect: network is unreachable. 
 

NetWorker vProxy potrebbe non visualizzare un errore di conflitto IP. È possibile che venga visualizzato come RRR "failing with unable to determine network interface" o "network is unreachable".

Resolution

Opzione 1.

Risoluzione dei problemi a livello di server DNS

Controllare l'indirizzo IP e i nomi host del vProxy nel server DNS per trovare un nome host duplicato per lo stesso IP.
 

Opzione 2.

Risoluzione dei problemi a livello di rete:

1. Spegnere il vProxy_HostA

2. Eseguire quanto segue nella CLI del server NW:

ping -a IP_of_vProxy_Host
nslookup IP_of_vProxy_Host
nslookup vProxy_Host

3. Risolvere il conflitto di IP duplicati, quindi passare a Upgrade NetWorker vProxy Appliance.
