在 Unity 平台上，我們可以擷取呈現給主機的 LUN 快照或時間點參照。快照的大小與生產 LUN 的大小相同。如果來源 LUN 的容量增加，相關的快照會維持在原始容量。快照最終重新整理後，其中會包含顯示新增加大小的中繼資料，但不會追蹤所有寫入 LUN 擴充大小的資料。因此，快照不會包含有效資訊。當主機嘗試存取顯示但無法存取的空間時，會導致主機端訊息指出「磁碟機找不到要求的磁區」。
