AppSync: VMAX2 Arrays displayed in Configure Storage Settings without being added to AppSync Server

Symptoms
When configuring storage options for the Create Copy phase of a Service Plan in the AppSync GUI, VMAX arrays will be displayed even if they haven't been added to AppSync by the user
Cause
The VMAX2 arrays that are displayed here are those that are available to the SMI-S providers that manage the VMAX. As part of the discovery phase, AppSync establishes a connection with the SMI-S provider, obtaining a list of all the arrays managed. However the VMAX arrays cannot be used for replication purposes without being manually added to AppSync.
Resolution
Works as designed.
