Symptoms

Windows VSSバックアップが次のエラーで失敗します。

avvss Error <8801>:
ERROR: Win32 call L"GetVolumePathNameW" failed.
avvss Error <12077>: VSS returned an error message exiting HR = 0x8007007b

 

Cause

このエラーは、avtarバイナリーが「\\globalroot\\device\\harddiskvolume1」のようなボリューム パスを処理するコードの問題が原因です。このボリューム パスは、パーティション パスではなくマウント ポイントとして認識されます。

 

Resolution

この問題を解決するには、次の手順を実行します。

  • Avamar Serverをにアップグレードします。
    • 19.4.100-124以降
  • この修正は、Avamar 19.4以降のソフトウェア リリースに含まれています。
