Symptoms

Windows VSS 备份失败，并显示以下错误：

avvss Error <8801>:
ERROR: Win32 call L"GetVolumePathNameW" failed.
avvss Error <12077>: VSS returned an error message exiting HR = 0x8007007b

 

Cause

该错误是由于代码问题导致 avtar 二进制文件处理卷路径（例如“\\globalroot\\device\\harddiskvolume1”）造成的。此卷路径被视为装载点，而不是分区路径。

 

Resolution

要解决此问题，请执行以下作：

  • 将 Avamar Server 升级到。
    • 19.4.100-124 或更高版本
  • 该修复在 Avamar 19.4 和更高软件版本中提供。
