Symptoms

Latitude 3410 or Latitude 3510 computers encounter an APC_INDEX_MISMATCH Windows Blue Screen Error.

The error occurs upon restart after adding Authenticated_Users as Local Admin in computer management.

The issue only occurs on CFI order configurations with Intel Dynamic Tuning driver version 8.7.10400.1556. The Blue Screen Error results in the computer entering a boot loop.

Cause

An issue with the Intel Dynamic Tuning driver, version 8.7.10400.1556, is the root cause of the error.

Resolution

Update the Intel Dynamic Tuning Driver to version 8.7.10600.20700, A12 (or newer) from the Dell Support Website.
