カスケード レプリケーションを構成する際に留意すべき主な考え方。レプリケーション ジョブB_Cを開始する前に、レプリケーション ジョブ A_Bが「success/needs_attention」で終了していることを確認します。

レプリケーション ジョブ B_Cの開始中に、レプリケーション ジョブ A_Bのステータスが「failed OR canceled OR running OR paused」になることは常に避ける必要があります

上記の条件に到達するために:

1。ジョブが正常に終了したら、「Archive-%{SrcCluster}-%{PolicyName}-%Y-%m-%d_%H-%M-%S」という名前のパターンでターゲット スナップショットを作成するように、A_Bからレプリケーション ポリシーを作成できます。

Cluster_A# isi sync policies create --name=A_B --source-root-path=/ifs/folder_A --target-host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx --target-path=/ifs/folder_B --action=sync --target-snapshot-archive=yes --target-snapshot-pattern=Archive-%{SrcCluster}-%{PolicyName}-%Y-%m-%d_%H-%M-%S --target-snapshot-expiration=5D

 

メモ: ターゲット スナップショットにSIQ-プレフィックスを付けることはできません。上記の例に示すように、「SIQ_」または「Archive-」を使用します。

 

--target-snapshot-pattern=Archive-%{SrcCluster}-%

  1. 次に、レプリケーション ポリシーをB_Cから、ソース スナップショット パターン「Archive-*」が作成されたときにのみ開始するようにします。

    Cluster_B# isi sync policies create --name=B_C --source-root-path=/ifs/folder_B --target-host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx --target-path=/ifs/folder_C --action=sync --schedule=when-snapshot-taken --snapshot-sync-pattern="Archive-*" --snapshot-sync-existing=yes


    これにより、レプリケーション ジョブが正常に完了するA_B B_CスケジュールがA_Bスケジュールに関連付けられた後にのみ、B_Cレプリケーション ジョブが開始されることが保証されます。

    LABから以下を確認してください。

    Cluster_A# cd /ifs/folder_A
    Cluster_A# ls -lh

    Cluster_A# isi sync jobs start A_B
    Cluster_A# isi sync reports list

メモ:
  1. カスケード レプリケーションは一方向レプリケーションであり、特定のワークフローや移行に適しています。 
  2. フェールオーバーとフェールバックは、クラスターAとクラスターBの間でのみサポートされています。BとCの間のフェールオーバーは、クラスターBのターゲットが重複しているためサポートされていません。
  3. クラスターBへのフェールオーバーでは、BからAへのレプリケーションをサポートするようにスケジュールを変更する必要があります。
