Symptoms

Ao adicionar um par de arrays usando o SRDF Replication Adapter (SRA) na interface do usuário do SRM, foi recebido o erro:
"SRA command 'discoverArrays' failed. Failed to connect to the array management host. Please check EmcSrdfSra logs for more information on the error."

Cause

Foi detectado que a sessão SYMAPI não pôde ser inicializada do client SRM para o servidor SYMAPI devido ao erro, "The remote connection is refused. The SYMAPI server is probably not running."

Isso se deve à storsrvd daemon não em execução no servidor SYMAPI .

Resolution

O SRM atua como um client para o servidor SYMAPI, portanto, o daemon storsrvd deve estar em execução no servidor SYMAPI. Para solucionar esse problema temporariamente:

  1. Inicie o daemon storsrvd no servidor SYMAPI:
    Stordaemon start storsrvd 
  2. Execute a operação "Add" Array Pair na interface do usuário do SRM
