Symptoms
WD22TB4 dock is not detected when you disconnect and then reconnect the docking cable within ten seconds
If you own a Dell thunderbolt 4 WD22TB4 docking station, you may experience an issue where your laptop does not detect the new dock. This can be seen when you disconnect and then reconnect the dock to a running computer within ten seconds.
Cause
The computer may be unable to identify the external device as a Dell dock if you quickly unplug and then replug the device.
Resolution
The computer and the dock are working as they are expected to in this case.
You should not quickly disconnect and reconnect any external device. You must give at least ten seconds between disconnecting and reconnecting an external device to your computer.
