Symptoms

  • 備份會使用 NetWorker 用戶端軟體為 Windows 系統執行。
  • 備份在pseudo_saveset上會失敗。
  • 備份記錄報告 Microsoft 磁片區陰影複製服務 （VSS） 錯誤。例如：
181407:save: Step (1 of 5) for PID-8600: Save has been started on the client ''.
174412:save: Step (2 of 5) for PID-8600: Running the backup on the client '' for the save set 'pseudo_saveset'.
174424:save: Step (3 of 5) for PID-8600: Creating the snapshot for the selected save sets.
VSS OTHER: ERROR: VSS failed to process snapshot: Unable to create the VSS snapshot.
197048:save: Unable to save the SYSTEM STATE save sets and create the snapshot: Unable to create the VSS snapshot.

Cause

VSS 是 NetWorker 備份所使用的 Microsoft 技術。VSS 問題通常發生在用戶端的作業系統，或安裝的新修補程式會影響 VSS。

Resolution

用戶端上： 
  1. 開啟系統管理員命令提示字元。
  2. 停止 NetWorker 用戶端：
net stop nsrexecd /y
  1. 終止任何未停止的 NetWorker 服務：
taskkil /F /IM nsr*
  1. 終止任何未停止的 NetWorker 備份程式：
taskkill /F /IM save* 
  1. 重新命名 C：\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\logs\daemon.raw
  2. 移除 C：\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\tmp （任何重新命名的 /tmp 目錄也）。
  3. 開啟 服務 （或 services.msc）。 
  4. 尋找磁片區陰影複製服務停止，然後開始此服務
  5. 開始 再次提供 NetWorker 用戶端服務：
net start nsrexecd
  • 如果問題仍然存在，請測試小型檔案或目錄以備份並排除 VSS：
  1. 在用戶端上開啟系統管理員命令提示字元。
  2. 執行下列命令，測試您所選目錄或檔案的小型備份：
save -vv -D5 -s  -b  -o VSS:*=off
  • 如果備份成功，請停用用戶端組態中的 VSS。 
注意：停用備份中的 VSS 只能做為因應措施。應判斷和解決 VSS 問題的根本原因，以便在啟用 VSS 時執行 Windows 備份。
  1. 若要停用特定用戶端的 VSS，請在 NetWorker 管理主控台 （NMC） 中開啟用戶端屬性。
  2. 在 「APPS&MODULES」卷 標下，>輸入 備份 命令：
save -o VSS:*=off
為了根本導致任何 VSS 問題，建議您聯絡 Microsoft 管理團隊或 Microsoft 支援，以檢閱 VSS 故障的原因。
