Cause

CVE-2024-42225 vulnerability affects certain versions within the Oracle Linux kernel ranges:

1. 5.15.0 to 5.15.163
2. 5.16.0 to 6.1.98
3. 6.2.0 to 6.6.39
4. 6.7.0 to 6.9.9

 Kernel versions for Unity:

Seahawk - 4.12.14
Puffin - 4.12.14
Kestrel - 5.14.21

 The above versions do not fall under the vulnerable range. Hence, Unity is not affected to vulnerability CVE-2024-42225.

Resolution

No action is needed. Unity is not vulnerable to this CVE-2024-42225.
