Symptoms
Dell PowerProtect Data Manager precheck before an upgrade fails because of the following error:
UPG0021: Precheck failed for subcomponents: Cloud Native. Check the subcomponents for details.
From the Sub-components, Cloud native is in Failed:
However, Cloud Native is not in use in PowerProtect Data Manager.
Cause
The cause of this error is unknown at the moment.
Resolution
To resolve this error, delete the upgrade package, re-upload the package and try the install again, it will then go through.
