- Run the following command:
sysctl efs.lbm.free_inodes
To view the number of inodes available on all nodes in the cluster:
- Open an SSH connection on any node in the cluster and log in using the "root" account.
- Run the following command:
isi_for_array sysctl efs.lbm.free_inodes
- When prompted, enter the cluster root password.
Output similar to the following is returned:mycluster-1: efs.lbm.free_inodes: 50937255 mycluster-2: efs.lbm.free_inodes: 51111519 mycluster-3: efs.lbm.free_inodes: 51082744
Verifying free blocks

- Open an SSH connection on any node in the cluster and log in using the "root" account.
- Run the following command:
sysctl efs.lbm.free_blocks
To view the number of free blocks on all nodes in the cluster:

- Run the following command:
isi_for_array -s sysctl efs.lbm.free_blocks
Output similar to the following is returned:mycluster-1: efs.lbm.free_blocks: 535657939 mycluster-2: efs.lbm.free_blocks: 716745198 mycluster-3: efs.lbm.free_blocks: 222690305
Additional Information
The number of inodes is allocated to files and directories by the system dynamically. If more inodes are needed, an 8 KB block is used for 16 inodes (512-Byte inode x 16 = 8KB).
