Dell Unity: Fornetix KMIP -palvelinta ei voida ottaa käyttöön (Dell Correctable)

Resumen: Yritykset määrittää ulkoinen KMIP (Fornetix Key Management Interoperability Protocol) -palvelin tallentamaan ja säilyttämään Unity-järjestelmän D@RE avaimet epäonnistuvat. Näyttöön tulee seuraava virhekoodi: 0x7140900D ja vastaava virhesanoma "KMIP-palvelimen käyttöönottotoiminto ei onnistunut". Fornetix KMIP -palvelinohjelmistoa tarvittiin, koska VMware ESXi 8.x -isännät ovat käytössä ja se toimii virtuaalikoneessa. Loppukäyttäjä oli yrittänyt hankkia Dell CloudLink KMIP -ohjelmiston aluksi Delliltä, koska se tukee myös VMware-ympäristöjä. CloudLink-ohjelmisto ei ole enää ostettavissa maaliskuusta 2023 alkaen. Síntomas

KMIP:n käyttöönottoa yritettiin sekä komentoriviltä että Unispheressä. Useita virheitä näytettiin, kun 3DES-salausprotokollaa ei ollut lisätty ensisijaiseen Fornetix CA -varmenteeseen. Tämä on tarpeen, jotta varmenne voidaan tuoda Fornetixin KMIP-palvelimesta Unity-tallennustilaan. 

3DES-virheet ratkaistiin, mutta KMIP-palvelin ei vieläkään ottanut sitä käyttöön. 

Unisphere-virhe määritysyrityksen aikana oli: 
The KMIP server enablement operation did not complete successfully.  Please review the event logs and health status of the system. (Error Code:0x7140900d)
Unispheren virhe:

Unisphere näytti tapahtumalokissa vain seuraavat: "User <domain/user> has has unsuccessfully to enable KMIP" jokaisen epäonnistuneen yrityksen jälkeen.
 

Causa

Unity c4_sade_sm.log:n lokituloste tarkistettiin, mikä osoitti, että Fornetix KMIP -palvelinta ei tueta Unity-tallennustuotteissa.

Resolución

Dell Engineering oli mukana ja vahvisti, että Fornetix KMIP -palvelinohjelmistoa ei tueta Unity-tallennuksessa. 

Dell e-Lab Navigator Matrix osoittaa, että Fornetix ei näy Unity-tuotteiden luettelossa.
