MFE zDP: Felaktig RC för QUERY-kommandot. Nytt meddelande, EIP0287W/E introducerades

KOMMANDOT QUERY TGT, STATUS och DEVICE returnerar RC=0 när ett av PowerMax-systemen i TGT är offline.   
  
KOMMANDOT QUERY VDG returnerar RC=0 när VDG innehåller enheter som har tagits bort från PowerMax-systemet.    

zDP Definition Utility har uppdaterats för att ange en slutlig returkod baserat på MAX_RC och allvarlighetsgraden för varnings-/felmeddelandet.
                                               
Om en enhet inte finns i ett PowerMax-system markeras enhetsposten i QUERY-utdata med "*".      

A new message will also be issued:                           
EIP0287W/E VDG , SYMM , some devices were not found on the controller 

Det beror på ett programvaruproblem.

Permanent lösning: 

• För Mainframe Enablers 8.5 har PTF SF85107 utvecklats för att korrigera problemet. Det går att ladda ner från Dells onlinesupport.
