Announcement

The Dell BSAFE Product Team announces the release and general availability of Dell BSAFE Crypto Module Quantum-Resistant Plugin 3.0.

BSAFE Crypto Module QR Plugin is a software development toolkit plugin for use with the BSAFE Crypto
Module for C, expanding cryptographic capabilities to add support for quantum-resistant algorithms.

This release includes the following features:

  • Support for verifying signatures created using the Leighton-Micali Signature LMS algorithm, now standardized under NIST SP 800-208. This algorithm is recommended in the CNSA 2.0 Cybersecurity Advisory.
  • Support for generating keys, creating signatures, and verifying signatures for the initial draft version of Module-Lattice based Digital Signature Algorithm (ML-DSA) algorithm, standardized under FIPS 204.
