Cause
Windows 10:stä Windows 11:een asti Microsoft on ottanut käyttöön uuden tavan luoda, ottaa käyttöön ja huoltaa Windowsia. Microsoft toimittaa ominaisuuspäivityksiä SaaS (Solution as a Service) -palvelun kautta Windows Updaten tai muiden toimitustapojen avulla.

Résolution
Dellin Windows 10 -ominaisuuspäivitysten testaus alkaa Insider-julkaisuista, jatkuu korjauksiin ja päivityksiin, jotka on tehty ennen julkaisua verkon kautta Windows Updateen, ja jatkuu Windows 10 -julkaisuversion tuen loppuun saakka.
Microsoft toimittaa Dellille tasaiseen tahtiin julkaisua edeltäviä kokeilukoontiversioita, jotka testataan kyseisenä ajankohtana yleisesti saatavilla ja kehitteillä olevien Dell Data Security -sovellusten kanssa. Kun lopulliset koontiversiot julkaistaan verkkoon saataville Windows Updateen, Microsoftin Windows 10 -ohjelmiston lataussivustoon ja Microsoftin SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) -kanaville, Dell varmistaa lisäksi lopullisen tuen.
Dell pyrkii varmistamaan yhteensopivuuden Dell Data Securityyn perustuvissa sovelluksissa 30 päivän kuluessa kunkin Windows 10 -ominaisuuden päivityksen julkaisusta.
