Skift den tidszone, der bruges af vProxy-enheden med Linux-kommandoen: 
timedatectl
  1. Opret forbindelse til vProxy-enheden via SSH, log på som administratorbrugeren.
  2. Skift til root-brugerkontoen :
sudo su - 
  1. Indtast nedenstående kommando for at få de aktuelle indstillinger for tidszone:
timedatectl

Eksempel:

vproxy01:~ # timedatectl
      Local time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58 UTC
  Universal time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58 UTC
        RTC time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58
       Time zone: UTC (UTC, +0000)
 Network time on: no
NTP synchronized: no
 RTC in local TZ: no
  1. Indtast følgende kommando for at vise, hvilken tidszone systemets "localtime" er symlinket til:
ls -l /etc/localtime

Eksempel:

vproxy01:~ # ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Jan 12 18:05 /etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC
  1. Indtast følgende kommando for at få en liste over de tilgængelige tidszoneindstillinger:
timedatectl list-timezones
  1. Indtast nedenstående kommando for atangive tidszonen:
timedatectl set-timezone ZONE

vproxy01:~ # timedatectl set-timezone America/New_York
vproxy01:~ #
  1. Bekræft ændringerne med kommandoerne fra trin 3 og 4:
vproxy01:~ # timedatectl
      Local time: Fri 2024-01-12 13:11:39 EST
  Universal time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:11:39 UTC
        RTC time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:11:39
       Time zone: America/New_York (EST, -0500)
 Network time on: no
NTP synchronized: yes
 RTC in local TZ: no
vproxy01:~ # ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 38 Jan 12 13:10 /etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York
  1. Genstart enheden, når der ikke er nogen sikkerhedskopierings- eller gendannelsesopgaver, der kører på vProxy:
reboot
