NetWorker NMM SQL Server remote agent kan ikke registrere - nsrnmsqlra -i

NetWorker NMM SQL Server Remote Agent kan ikke registreres. Når NMM er installeret på en SQL Server, skal den registrere (automatisk) en fjernagent hos NetWorker.
Brug af denne kommando

nsrnmsqlra -i 

 

Dette registreres ikke med fejl:  Kan ikke åbne klientens navngivne rør til godkendelse:

Årsagen er relateret til Windows (SMB)-servermeddelelsesblokprotokollen.

Microsoft Windows-operativsystemet bruger Navngivne pipes til godkendelse og adgang til filer, printere og shares.

Navngivne pipes bruger SMB (Server Message Block) som den underliggende transportprotokol.   

Når SMB er deaktiveret, mislykkes NMM-fjernagenten på grund af godkendelse, der kræver brug af navngivne pipes.

Teknisk rodårsag defineret som:

This is windows requirement.
 
During authentication process, Server will create the named pipe file in the client and open the named pipe to get the RPCSEC_GSS 
credentials. But when SMB protocol is disabled,  server fails to get the details from the client.

BEMÆRKNINGER

1. Microsoft Windows-servere har SMB1-funktionen installeret som standard. 

2. Fra og med Windows 2019 Server er SMB1 ikke installeret som standard.
Hvis SMB også deaktiveres, samtidig med at SMB1 ikke er installeret, mislykkes fjernagenten.
