  1. First determine if your system has ControlVault using the process as outlined in How to Determine if my System has ControlVault
  2. Launch Settings in Windows, Click Accounts, then click Sign-in options
  3. Under Fingerprint Recognition (Windows Hello) if you see the “Set up” button, your device has no fingerprint information enrolled
  4. Under Fingerprint Recognition (Windows Hello) if you see the “Add a finger” button, your device has fingerprint information enrolled
