Description

In PowerStore, once NAS server network interfaces per NAS server reach the agreed limits, no additional NAS server network interfaces can be created or managed via the management console. To avoid this situation, NAS server network interface usage is actively monitored, and alerts are triggered in advance, allowing users to take appropriate action. When the system reaches the maximum allowed number of NAS server network interfaces per NAS server, PowerStore prevents the creation of any additional NAS server network interfaces through the management console.

Cause:

This alert is triggered when the total number of NAS server network interfaces per NAS server configured in the PowerStore system reaches the critical threshold of 98% of the maximum allowed limit. At this level, the system is at imminent risk of being unable to create or manage any additional NAS server network interfaces via the management console

Solution:

To resolve the issue of reaching the maximum allowed NAS server network interfaces per NAS server in PowerStore, delete unused or unnecessary NAS server network interfaces to reduce the NAS server network interface count below the critical threshold.
