PowerFlex 4.x: Fluxtoolkitin asennus epäonnistuu

Symptomen

PowerFlex Appliance 16G ja asiakkaan RHEL-näköistiedosto MVM (PFMP) -solmuille – RHEL 8.10.

 

PFMP-asennus epäonnistuu toisessa vaiheessa 74 %:n kohdalla.

bedrock.log näyttää seuraavan virheen:

fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false
 assertion: ansible_failed_task is ot defined and ansible_failed_result is not defined
 evaluated_to: false

Vaikutus 

PFMP:n käyttöönotto ei onnistu.

Oorzaak

CMO vaatii UMASK 022:n Helm-kaavioiden oikeaan asettamiseen. UMASK 027 tarjoaa rootille rwx-käyttöoikeudet, ryhmälle r-x-käyttöoikeudet, mutta ei oikeuksia muille.

Oplossing

Muokkaa UMASK-arvoja kaikissa kolmessa MVM (PFMP) -solmussa. PowerFlex PFMP-isäntien umask-arvojen muuttaminen oletuslupaa varten

UMASKin muuttaminen versioon 0022:

  1. UMASK-arvon päivittäminen 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. Lataa kokoonpano:
source /etc/profile
  1. Poistu liittymästä ja kirjaudu uudelleen sisään

Uusin kokoonpano päivitetään. #Testaus: Jos luot uuden tiedoston, siinä on 644 käyttöoikeutta.
 

Kun arvoja on muutettu:

  • Nollaa PFMP-asennusohjelma
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • PFMP-asennusohjelman määrittäminen
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • Aloita PFMP-asennus
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x -version julkaisutiedoissa todetaan seuraavaa: (s. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
