PowerFlex 4.x: Fluxtoolkit'i Yükleme Başarısız

Symptomen

MVM (PFMP) düğümleri için müşterinin RHEL görüntüsüne sahip bir PowerFlex Cihazı 16G - RHEL 8.10.

 

PFMP yüklemesi ikinci aşamada %74 oranında başarısız olur.

bedrock.log aşağıdaki hatayı gösterir:

fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false
 assertion: ansible_failed_task is ot defined and ansible_failed_result is not defined
 evaluated_to: false

Etki 

PFMP dağıtılamıyor.

Oorzaak

CMO, Helm grafiklerinin doğru kurulumu için UMASK 022 gerektirir. UMASK 027, köke rwx izinleri, gruba rx izinleri sağlar ve diğerleri için izin vermez.

Oplossing

Üç MVM (PFMP) düğümünün hepsinde UMASK değerlerini değiştirin. PowerFlex Varsayılan izin için PFMP ana bilgisayarlarındaki umask değerlerini değiştirme

UMASK'ı 0022 olarak değiştirmek için:

  1. UMASK değerini güncelleme 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. Yapılandırmayı yükleyin:
source /etc/profile
  1. Kabuktan çıkın ve yeniden oturum açın

En son yapılandırma güncellenir. #Test: Yeni bir dosya oluşturursanız dosya 644 izinle oluşturulur.
 

Değerler değiştirildikten sonra:

  • PFMP yükleyiciyi sıfırlama
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • PFMP yükleyicisini kurma
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • PFMP yükleme işlemini başlatma
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x Sürüm Notlarında aşağıdakiler belirtilmektedir (sf. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
