Symptomen

PowerEdge XE9780 does not power on, but iDRAC is accessible.

In LifeCycle (LC) log, there is no error or critical event logged.

Oorzaak

There are multiple causes for this symptom, but for this article, one situation which causes this is if multiple fans are not detected or are missing. 

Oplossing

Reseat chassis fans and fan controller cables.
Check GPU fan LEDs. All should be solid green.
