Symptomen

If an SRDF Host Component command fails during a GDDR script, message GDDR313I may incorrectly indicate RC=0 (example below) and the script could proceed as if the command was successful.

Oorzaak

This is a software issue.

Oplossing

Resolution:
  • For GDDR 6.0, PTF GD60021 addresses the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
  • For GDDR 5.3, PTF GD53104 addresses the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
GDDRDAP4 is updated to find the correct return code when issuing SRDF Host Component commands using the dynamic REXX API (FC19). In addition, message GDDR313I is enhanced to avoid any confusion as to what return code is displayed.
