DSA-2025-150: Security Update for Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery for a Third-Party Component Driver Vulnerability

Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery auto-updates to the latest version. To verify the version, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Programs -> Programs and Features.
3. Find "Dell SupportAssist Remediation" and "Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin".
4. Verify that the version of these programs is 5.5.13.2 or later.

Alternatively, if the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is launched, please check the version from “About” on the application.

1. If the version is older than 5.5.13.2, please follow these steps to install the remediated version.
   1. Launch SupportAssist application from Windows Start menu.
   2. Click on Update Software on the Home page.
   3. Select the checkbox “Check for Updates”.
   4. Click on Start to install update.
