Dell Command Powershell Provider Software Error with the Latitude 7420

When the command import-module DellBIOSProvider verbose is run, it fails once it reaches the line showing:

Performing operation New-PSDrive for the provider DellSmbiosProv

With an error stating:-

Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

The issue has been root caused to a specific attribute in DCPP version 2.7.2.1 and earlier versions.

Update the DCPP software to version 2.9.0.69, A00 or later to resolve this issue.
