Симптомы
Mounting a copy to a virtual mount host results in the below error during the mount of target datastore, causing the mount operation to fail.
Virtual center service operation failed with error: InvalidState. Using the VI client, check the ESX servers for tasks and events, or alarms.
Причина
VCenter reports that the datastore is inaccessible even though it is visible. This can be verified by the existence of the VM_000077 error noting the InvalidState status in the AppSync Server log as seen in the Notes section below.

This issue is resolved on Appsync 3.1 Patch 1 and is noted in the AppSync 3.1 Patch 1 release notes on page 2 with a CQ identifier of 108807.
Upgrade to AppSync 3.1.0.1 or above and refer to the appropriate release notes for installation instructions.

During the mount operation, the target datastore is mounted but inaccessible.
AppSync tries to mount it again, but since it is already in a mounted state, it fails with an invalid state exception.
