I nogle brugeres miljøer kan det også få Windows GLR-serverne eller proxyerne til at genstarte under gennemsynsforsøget.

Avamar GLR-plug-ins til Hyper-V, Exchange, SharePoint og SQL (TLR) har en integreret tredjepartsdriver, "ELDOS-driver".

Denne komponent er nødvendig for at montere Avamar-backupstien til en database for at udføre de GLR- eller TLR-handlinger, der senere fuldføres med Itempoint-værktøjet.

Denne ELDOS-driver har en tidligere version, som ikke har de seneste forbedringer til at understøtte nyere Windows-operativsystemer (Windows 2022 og nyere). Dette forårsager de ovennævnte fejl.

Som følge heraf understøttes GLR- eller TLR-gendannelsen ikke for Windows 2022 og nyere, hvilket også afspejles i Avamar-supportmatrixen.
