Симптомы
SEL and LC Log report various Backplane and Sig Pwr issues.
- Issue only exists in iDRAC firmware 1.30.30.50 and 1.30.30.52. No other iDRAC firmware version is affected.
- Event Code is always HWC8011.
- Severity is always Critical.
Examples:
- HWC8011 - The System Configuration Check operation resulted in multiple Backplane issues.
- HWC8011 - The System Configuration Check operation resulted in multiple Sig Pwr Cable issues.
- HWC8011 - The System Configuration Check operation resulted in multiple Backplane Cable issues.
These events will be present in every boot. The events do not clear on warm boot, cold boot, or AC power cycle. A hardware replacement will not remediate these events.
Причина
A supported configuration was inadvertently dropped from iDRAC firmware version 1.30.30.50. The issue is also present in iDRAC firmware version 1.30.30.52.
Разрешение
This issue is resolved in iDRAC firmware version 1.30.30.55.
For customers unable to apply this update, a workaround is available.
- Workaround: Roll iDRAC firmware back to March release (version 1.30.10.50) or May release (version 1.30.10.51).
