Симптомы

The customer has renamed the hostname or friendly name of the Unity array, but the syslog server is still displaying the old hostname instead of the new one.

Причина

The issue occurs because when the hostname is changed, a new certificate is generated, and the web service is reloaded. However, other daemons do not restart and continue to reference the old hostname.

Разрешение

To resolve this, the Management service must be failed over.

To failover the Management service from CLI:
# svc_restart_service failover MGMT

Example output:
23:11:30 root@CKM00xxxxxxxxx spb:/cores/service/user# svc_restart_service failover MGMT
Found ECOM on spb, will failover to spa

 

NOTE: This operation moves only the MGMT software to the peer SP. The process takes 3-5 minutes to complete and will not disrupt data access.
