Computers Are Unable to Connect Using Active Management Technology or Intel Standard Manageability with Intel Core 13th Generation CPUs

Computers are unable to connect using AMT or ISM with non-TLS network communication with Intel Core 13th Generation CPUs or Intel Xeon CPUs installed.

Impacted Models:

• OptiPlex:
  OptiPlex 7010 (Mini Tower, Small Form Factor, Micro Form Factor)
   
• Precision:
  Precision 3260, Precision 3460, Precision 3660

Impacted CPU:

• Intel Core 13th Gen CPU:
  Intel Core i9-13900, Intel Core i7-13700, Intel Core i5-13500, so on
   
• Intel Xeon W-3400/W-2400:
  Intel Xeon W9-3495X, Intel Xeon W7-3445, Intel Xeon W5-3425, Intel Xeon W7-2495X, Intel Xeon W5-2465X, Intel Xeon W3-2435, so on

Non-TLS network communications may be less secure than TLS network communications because non-TLS communications are not encrypted, while TLS network communications are encrypted.

Non-TLS Network Communication

Computers that ship with the Intel Core 13th Generation CPUs and Intel Xeon W-3400/W-2400, AMT/ISM no longer support non-TLS network communication.

This is an expected behavior, Intel removed the option to choose non-TLS network communications to help Users provide more secure solutions to Customers.
