NVP vProxy: FLR virtuele machine mislukt consequent met "Could not get the directory content"

De NetWorker VMware Protection-oplossing (NVP) wordt gebruikt om back-ups te maken van VMware virtuele machines (VM's).
FLR-koppelingsbewerkingen (File Level Restore) zijn voltooid voor een Windows-VM; De browse-actie slaagt er echter niet in om de inhoud van de directory weer te geven met de melding 'Toegang geweigerd'.

De VM's die faalden voor FLR met de bovenstaande symptomen, gebruiken Microsoft Distributed-File-System (DFS).

Controleer of DFS is ingeschakeld op de VM (PowerShell-opdrachten):

• Get-Module -ListAvailable DFSN
• Get-Command *Dfs*

Microsoft DFS is een Windows-bestandssysteemfunctie waarmee gebruikers een naamruimte kunnen maken van gedeelde mappen die fysiek over een netwerk zijn gedistribueerd. Met DFS kunnen gebruikers gedistribueerde directory's logisch ordenen, waardoor bestanden op verschillende locaties gecentraliseerd toegankelijk zijn.

Tijdelijkeoplossing:

1. Start File Level Recovery (FLR) vanuit de NMC-UI (NetWorker Management Console).
2. Herstel op bestandsniveau (FLR) in NetWorker Management Console (NMC) UI Titel van pagina Herstelpagina: Koppel de opslagset voor herstel op bestandsniveau
3. Laat het FLR-koppelpunt (File Level Recovery) in de gekoppelde staat staan in de NMC-gebruikersinterface (NetWorker Management Console).
4. Gebruik Windows Verkenner om de inhoud van de map te kopiëren en te plakken op de Distributed File System (DFS) Target Virtual Machine (VM).
