Removing the VGA board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

    3. hard drive assembly

    4. keyboard

    5. palmrest

  3. To remove the VGA board:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the VGA board to the computer [1].
    2. Lift the latch and disconnect the VGA board cable from the connector on the VGA board [2, 3].
    3. Lift and remove the VGA board from the computer [4]
