Configuring interface on rack servers

To add a server interface:
  1. In the Server Component dialog box, select Rack Server option under Targeted Server Type:
  2. For Rack Servers, under Interfaces, click Add New Interface.
  3. From the NIC Type, select the NIC type:
    • Two port, 10 gigabit
    • Four port, 10 gigabit
    • Two port, 10 gigabit and Two port, 1 gigabit
  4. Select the Used for FC check box, if you want to use the NIC for Fibre Channel.
  5. Under specific ports, if you want to partition the port, select the Do you want to partition? check box.
  6. Enter the following information for each ports or partitions:
    1. Select the vLAN Networks to use for data transmission

    2. Enter the Minimum Bandwidth and maximum bandwidth in percentage.

  7. Repeat the steps 4 through 6 for each port.
  8. After configuring interfaces, you can configure NIC Teams.
  9. Click Add.
