Before working inside your system
Prerequisites
Steps
- Turn off the system and any attached peripherals.
- Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
- If applicable, remove the system from the rack. For more information, see the Rack Installation placemat at Dell.com/poweredgemanuals.
- If installed, remove the optional front bezel.
- Place the system on its side.
- Remove the system cover.
