Installing the display assembly
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the display assembly and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and place the system chassis under the hinges of the display assembly.
- Press the left and right hinges in downward direction toward the palmrest assembly.
- Install the (M2.5x4) and six (M2.5x5) screws to secure the display hinges to the palmrest assembly.
- Connect the display cable to the connector on the system board and close the latch.
- Route the display cable through the routing guides in the palmrest assembly.
- Affix the adhesive tape to secures the display cable in place.

- Install the WLAN card.
