Deleting connection profile
About this task
NOTE: Ensure that you do not delete a connection profile that is associated with a host when an inventory, a warranty, or a deployment job is running.
Steps
- In OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter, click Manage.
- Click Profiles, and then click Credential Profiles.
- Expand Credential Profiles, click the Connection Profiles tab, and select the profiles to delete.
- Click the
icon. - To remove the profile, click Yes for the delete confirmation message, or to cancel the delete action, click No.
Results
NOTE: OMIVV does not manage
the hosts that are part of the connection profile that you deleted,
until those hosts are added to another connection profile.
