Installing the ExpressCard Module

Steps

  1. Insert the ExpressCard module into its compartment.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the ExpressCard module to the computer.
  3. Connect the:
    1. ExpressCard cable to the system board
    2. USH board cable to the USH board
  4. Install the:
    1. palm rest
    2. primary and secondary hard drive
    3. optical drive
    4. keyboard
    5. keyboard trim
    6. base cover
    7. battery
    8. ExpressCard
  5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
