Setting up global alerts
About this task
Steps
- To open Administration Portal, in the Help and Support tab of OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter, click the link under Administration Console or start a web browser and provide the https:\\<ApplianceIP|hostname> url.
- In the Login dialog box, type the password.
- In the left pane, click ALERT MANAGEMENT. To enter new vCenter alert settings, click Edit.
- Enter numeric values for the following fields:
- Maximum number of alerts
- Number of days to retain alerts
- Timeout for duplicate alerts (seconds)
- To save your settings, click Apply, or to cancel, click Cancel.
